Within many companies, content governance (ongoing maintenance of your content) doesn't get enough attention. So it's not a surprise that our Maintenance Date field doesn't get used as much as it probably should. 🤔

If improving your content governance is on your priority list for 2022, perhaps the tips below can be a solid starting point. 

1. Define your maintenance rules - How far out should maintenance dates be set for certain types of content?

2. Start plugging in maintenance dates!

3. Filter your calendar view to display only maintenance dates - Why not save that filtered view while you're at it??? 

4. Get notified of upcoming maintenance tasks - Go to My Profile > Notifications and make sure "maintenance dates" are included in your Email Digests.
