Campaign Attachments & Co-Owners
As we mentioned last week, we have TWO more new features for our updated Campaign management functionality!
1) Upload Attachments to Campaigns
This one is pretty self-explanatory... All the file uploading and asset management functionality you love on content items is now available inside of your campaigns! You'll see a new tab in the Campaign details interface that will let you upload locally from your computer or from one of our many cloud platform integrations!
2) Campaign Co-Owners
The last new feature to mention is the introduction of campaign co-owners. This new role has been added as a result of clients requesting expanded campaign editing capabilities and improved handling of campaign notifications.
Prior to this update, only campaign owners could edit campaigns and all users associated to the campaign would get campaign notifications. Now, owners AND co-owners are the only ones who will get notifications, and they can edit campaign details, add or edit Production Tasks, add attachments, and add other Co-Owners.
You can quickly identify the difference between the owner and co-owner via the orange (owner) and blue circle (co-owner) highlights around the user avatars.
So, why introduce co-owners now? Two reasons:
- It didn't make sense to have one individual, the owner, being the bottleneck for the activity on a campaign.
- It didn't make sense to send update notifications to everyone involved in a campaign (which is often a LOT of folks).
